Product Overview

Hermetic Nano Connectors

Hermetic Nano connectors represent the cutting edge in interconnect technology, combining extreme miniaturization with robust hermetic sealing capabilities. Operating at pitches as small as 0.025" (0.635mm) or even smaller, these connectors are designed for applications where space and weight are absolutely paramount, and sensitive electronics must be completely isolated from harsh external environments, including high vacuum, extreme pressure, moisture, and wide temperature fluctuations. These connectors are typically built to meet or exceed the performance requirements of MIL-DTL-32139 (for Nano-D connectors) and integrate advanced hermetic sealing technologies such as glass-to-metal seals or specialized ceramic/epoxy compounds. Aptiv Interconnect utilizes our exclusive Ceramax® dielectric compound to create best-in-class hermetic seals, which are impervious to crack propagation, a common failure mode in conventional glass seals. Hermetic Nano connectors are indispensable in next-generation space systems, advanced medical implants, high-performance avionics, and ultra-compact industrial sensors, ensuring reliable signal and power transmission without compromising the integrity of the sealed enclosure.
