Product Overview

M28804 Connectors

Aptiv Interconnect's M28804 connectors are rectangular, high-density plug and receptacle connectors designed in accordance with the MIL-DTL-28804 specification. These connectors feature a polarized center jackscrew coupling for secure mating and are engineered for applications where reliable electrical and mechanical performance is required in demanding environments. Because they maximize contact density in a rectangular footprint, they are well-suited for rack-and-panel installations, electronic equipment, and other systems where space and performance are at a premium. Designed for both non-environmental and environmental versions (sealed vs. non-sealed), M28804 connectors support removable contacts (crimp or solder) and are available in various shell sizes and insert arrangements

Features and Benefits

  • High-density rectangular contact arrangements optimize footprint.
  • Polarized center jackscrew coupling ensures reliable, secure mates and resists accidental unmating.
  • Versions suitable for non-environmental and environmental use (sealed backshells available).
  • Removable contacts (crimp or solder) for serviceability.
  • Rugged shell materials and contact systems engineered for military/industrial performance.
  • Widely used in rack & panel electronic systems, avionics, shipboard electronics where rectangular form is required.
