Product Overview

3.5mm Series RF Connector

The Aptiv Interconnect 3.5mm RF connector is a high-performance precision coaxial connector for microwave applications up to 34.5 GHz. As an improvement over the standard SMA, it features a more robust mechanical interface with a thickened outer conductor wall and an air dielectric, enhancing durability and electrical performance. The 3.5mm connector's female contact is supported by a dielectric bead, preventing "springing" for more reliable connections. Crucially, it is fully intermateable with SMA connectors, making it an excellent upgrade path for existing systems. It is widely used in test and measurement, telecommunications, satellite communication, and high-frequency instrumentation.
